Biography

Maren Noel most enjoys listening to house music and off-the-wall electronic pop music. Influenced by many musical genres and naturally by her hometown, Berlin, she creates her own imaginative sound. The electronic groove universe kisses wild, powerful synthesounds, an extensive sound trick box, and a lovely, multifaceted voice.

Electro-house-pop is the right term for what she gives her listeners.

No matter where I am or what Im doing at the moment, I am always being inspired by something to produce a new song. Once I get started, it is very difficult to tear myself away from it. And I love cinema, with all its phat soundtracks. what else? Asian cuisine, above all spicy!

Even as a child she never mind!

Maren Noel recorded her first tracks in South Africa and later set up her own sound studio in Berlin, where she produces her music today. Her music turns ears, and heads. Ap-proached by one producer after winning a talent contest, for example, though, she felt certainly that it wasnt the right musical path, and continues to produce her own stuff. In November 2005, the Berlin musician released her debut album, Voice of Hope, with which she surprised all fans of chill-out music. Many describe her album with the slogan, Her voice comes like a spirit. She toured with the album in spring 2006 to introduce her debut album throughout Germany and Switzerland, where she met with great success. Following the tour, her album titles were released on various samplers. Maren produces some commissioned works, from soothing songs to up-tempo music in cheerleader style.

And now?

Since Im already a bit crazy, I had a few ideas that I wanted to implement musically. And voil, heres my latest baby, The groove is yours. The first track alone has been remixed repeatedly. I played around with everything. Electronic sounds are simply absolutely fabulous, be-cause you can do so much with them. Freaky beats with multifarious vocal implementations and mature instrumentation paired with German and English texts are important components of her new album. Even so, fans expecting her emo-tional, melodic atmospheres will not be disappointed.

Maren Noel has found her distinctive style in electro/house groove. Live, I usually share the stage with dancers. Its simply huge fun together with my new sound. I have good friends with great moves, and I also like to jump around, in any case with such freaky songs.
